Love is Gone.

tears1What happened to the boy I once loved
What happened to the girl who knew love
What happened to the sweet kisses
what happened to the please, sorry don’t cry
What happened to the promises
Nothing is left anymore.

Everything I thought that i once knew does not exist
Everything I thought I loved has vanished
Love doesn’t live here any longer
Love left long before I could ponder
Long before I could wonder
What happened?
I’ll never know
why we’re no longer the same
as I wipe my tears stained face
my broken heart still remains
