Microsoft Tips Off New Smartphones for 2010 to a Mac site?

To all those in need of smart phones that are not satisfied with their Sideckick’s lack of innovation and have had to endure  the “Sidekick 2008” and the “Sidekick Lx 3G” that was just released for 2009. We all know that Sidekicks are way behind. Yes, there are other phones that might  just do the job  for T-mobile such as Androids My touch 3G  and it’s predecessor G1. But I. like many others is still waiting for a new phone that will wow me. Well there might be some good news.
I came across an article where the author claims they have received word that ‘Microsoft’ will be teaming up with Sharp to produce two smart phones that will be released in Jan 2010. This would be from “Microsoft’srumored Project Pink.” Project Pink is said to be Zune intertwined with the  Sidekick. ‘Danger’ will take part in this project as well since Microsoft purchased them back in 2008. ‘Sharp’ was also used to Manufacture some of the ever popular Sidekick phones.

Of course this is still a rumor, but the author “Cleve Nettles”assures that he has received photos of the phones. Apparently, the code name of one will be “Turtle” and the other “Pure”. According to the article “Pure” will most likely go to Verizon. Well that leaves us with the inst of hope that “Turtle” will go towards tmobile?  Mr. Nettles describes “Turtle” as a “dressed up Motorola QA1”  The other device is described as a “traditionally-shaped candy bar slider”.

This leaves us wondering until this rumor can be confirmed, if Microsoft is trying to compete with Mac’s “Iphone” then why would they release information to a site that focuses on Mac? Hence the name 9to5mac.
